By booking a session, accessing our venue, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with any booking or visit to the venue. Strategyfront Pty Ltd (ACN 696 752 351 / ABN 57 696 752 351), trading as Kart Mate Racing ('Kart Mate Racing', 'we', 'us', 'our') reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

All bookings made through the Kart Mate Racing website are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you have received a booking confirmation email. Bookings are subject to availability. Kart Mate Racing reserves the right to reschedule or cancel bookings due to technical issues, events beyond our control, or operational requirements. In such cases, a full refund or alternative booking time will be offered at our discretion. You must provide accurate personal details at the time of booking. False or misleading information may result in your booking being cancelled without refund.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable. No-shows are treated as same-day cancellations. Refunds are processed via the original payment method (Stripe) and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank. Kart Mate Racing reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a session without refund if a participant is found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves in an unsafe or disruptive manner, or tampers with equipment.

All participants must follow instructions from Kart Mate Racing staff at all times. A safety briefing will be provided before each session. Participation in a session constitutes acknowledgement that you have received and understood this briefing. You must arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for the briefing. Participants agree to use the simulator equipment responsibly and in accordance with the briefing provided by staff. Any deliberate or negligent damage to equipment will result in the participant being held financially liable for repair or replacement costs. Participants under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult who assumes full responsibility for the minor's conduct, supervision, and adherence to safety rules. The accompanying adult also acknowledges and accepts the assumption-of-risk terms in section 5 on behalf of the minor. Kart Mate Racing reserves the right to terminate a session at any time for safety, conduct, or operational reasons without refund.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This section affects your legal rights. By booking and/or participating in a session at Kart Mate Racing, you confirm that you have read and accept the following: (a) ASSUMPTION OF INHERENT RISK Sim racing involves the use of motorised force-feedback steering equipment, full-size racing cockpits, large-format displays, and immersive audio. Inherent risks include — but are not limited to — sudden wheel rotation or torque kickback that may cause hand, wrist, finger or arm injury; muscle strain or fatigue from extended periods of seated activity; eye strain, headaches, motion sickness, dizziness, nausea or disorientation from screen and motion exposure; epileptic seizures triggered by light or motion in susceptible individuals; aggravation of pre-existing back, neck, hand, wrist, shoulder, cardiac, neurological or other medical conditions; and minor impacts from contact with cockpit components. You acknowledge these risks are inherent to the activity and you voluntarily assume them. (b) HEALTH DECLARATION You confirm that you are in a suitable state of health to participate in sim racing. You must not participate if you: - Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including some prescription medications); - Have a current medical condition that could be aggravated by physical exertion, screen exposure, motion, or excitement (including but not limited to: heart conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, epilepsy, vertigo, severe motion sickness); - Have been advised by a medical professional not to participate in motorsport-style or video-game activities. If in doubt, consult your doctor before booking. You agree to alert staff immediately if you experience any discomfort during your session. (c) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law (including the Australian Consumer Law and Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)): Kart Mate Racing, Strategyfront Pty Ltd (ACN 696 752 351 / ABN 57 696 752 351), trading as Kart Mate Racing, its directors, employees, contractors, suppliers and affiliates ('Released Parties') are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, illness, mental harm, property damage or death arising from or in connection with: - Inherent risks of the activity, as described above; - Your failure to follow safety briefings or staff instructions; - Your failure to disclose a relevant medical condition; - Use of the venue's facilities (including parking, walkways, lounge area, screens, audio, lighting and food/beverage areas) where you have not exercised reasonable care for your own safety. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your booking is limited to the amount paid by you for the session in question. NOTHING IN THIS CLAUSE EXCLUDES, RESTRICTS OR MODIFIES ANY GUARANTEE, RIGHT OR REMEDY THAT YOU HAVE UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW OR ANY OTHER LAW THAT CANNOT BE LAWFULLY EXCLUDED. In particular, nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct. (d) RECREATIONAL SERVICES — WAIVER UNDER NSW LAW You acknowledge that the services provided by Kart Mate Racing are 'recreational services' as defined in section 139A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). To the extent permitted by that section, you agree that the consumer guarantees in sections 60 and 61 of the Australian Consumer Law are excluded in respect of significant personal injury suffered as a result of the inherent risks of the activity.

Kart Mate Racing maintains public liability insurance for the operation of its venue. Participants are responsible for their own personal accident, ambulance and medical insurance. We strongly recommend that participants hold appropriate private health cover. In the unlikely event of an injury requiring medical attention, any associated ambulance, medical or hospital costs are the responsibility of the participant or their insurer.

Driver tags submitted at the time of booking are displayed publicly on the Kart Mate Racing leaderboard. By registering a driver tag, you consent to your tag and associated lap times being publicly displayed. Kart Mate Racing reserves the right to remove any driver tag that is offensive, misleading, infringes any third-party rights, or is otherwise in breach of these terms — without notice and without refund. Lap times and leaderboard data are recorded for entertainment purposes and may be reset, corrected or removed at Kart Mate Racing's sole discretion.

All content on the Kart Mate Racing website — including text, images, video, logos, layouts and design — is the intellectual property of Strategyfront Pty Ltd (ACN 696 752 351 / ABN 57 696 752 351), trading as Kart Mate Racing and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. The 'Kart Mate Racing' brand name and associated marks are trading names of Strategyfront Pty Ltd.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy. By making a booking you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as described in that policy.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
